Q: When does the auction start/end?

A: The auction will open on October 3, 2023 at 9am PDT and closes on October 21, 2023 at 10:30pm PDT

Q: How do I find the auction?

A: Visit our ‘2023 Red Diamond Gala’ page on 32auctions site. It’s where you can view all items and sign up for an account.

Q: Do I need an account to view the auction?

A: Anyone can view our auction items. But yes, an account is needed in order to bid on all items.

Bidding

Q: Will I be notified when someone outbids me?

A: All participants should receive an email when they are outbid. This allows you to keep bidding. You should also receive a confirmation email when you submit a bid which lets you know if you are the leading bidder. If you are not receiving notifications, please check your spam or junk email folder.

Q: How do I know if I am the winning bidder?

A: All winning bidders should receive a notification email from 32auction after the auction closes. If you are not receiving notifications, please check your spam or junk email folder. You can also log in to your account and click “My Items Won.”

Q: What is a proxy bid?

A: A proxy bid is when you place a bid for the maximum amount you are willing to spend, then let the system bid for you up to that amount. You can also place bids manually (i.e. place one bid at a time). Explanations are available for the bid types by clicking the “Help” icon next to each item on any auction page.

Payments

Q: How do I pay for my items?

A: Payment is due Saturday, October 21, 2023 and must be made using 32auctions online payment feature.

Winning bidders will receive a notification with payment instructions. Items must be paid for in full before being picked up, delivered or mailed. Items not paid for by the deadline will be offered to the next highest bidder.

If not attending the Gala in person (where items and gift certificates will be available for pickup immediately after the event), delivery costs outside of Metro Vancouver for hard good items will be the responsibility of the winning bidder. Those items that are awarded by gift certificates will be mailed by First Class postage to any offsite winning bidders. Please check the Terms & Conditions and Pickup/Shipping instructions found under the description of every ‘2023 Red Diamond Gala’ auction item.

Q: What payment options are available?

A: When the auction closes, 32auctions will automatically email winning bidders with notifications containing payment instructions. Winning bidders can click the payment button to pay online with a credit card, debit card, eCheck, or PayPal account.

Q: Do I need a PayPal account?

A: You are not required to have a PayPal account to pay for your items. Winning bidders will be able to choose to pay by logging into their PayPal account, creating a new PayPal account or by entering credit card or debit card information without creating a PayPal account.

Q: Are refunds available?

A: All sales are final. There will be no exchange or refund. All values are approximate, and all items are sold “as is” and must be used before the expiry date unless otherwise stated.
